  • 22.5 cm
(compotier coquille) reserved in the center with a medallion painted with a spray of lilacs, the rim with a similar floral border, interlaced L's, date letters KK for 1788 and painter's mark for Cyprien-Julien Hirel de Choisy in puce, gilder's letters GI for Étienne-Gabriel Girard in gilding.

Condition

There are two 1/2-in. parallel scratches, one slightly deeper than the other, to the yellow ground on the right side of the central medallion and a minor 1/4-in. scratch mark to the ground on the opposite side. Apart from this and several additional minor small scratches, the dish is in generally good condition.
