Condition
Terracotta very finelly modelled. The surface appears to be slightly cleaned. One old restored break across the relief, retouched in the front and visible on the backside of the relief. Her left index appears to be restored. Very attractive piece.

Catalogue Note
Le modèle est connu par un bas-relief en terre cuite de Clodion conservé dans une collection particulière aux Etats-Unis (cf. Poulet et Scherf, op.cit. fig. 247), daté avant 1787 et, intitulé L'Amour à qui une bacchante bande les yeux, des petits satyres jouant avec son arc et ses flèches.
