Catalogue Note

La signature du sculpteur Edmé Bouchardon (1698-1762) et la date 1712 sont probablement apocryphes. Un Christ en croix d'un style très similaire mais de taille plus grande (H. 56 cm) a été présenté en vente à Sotheby's, New York, 29 janvier 1999, lot 136. Il était gravé du monogramme TA et daté anno 1670.
