à décor toutes faces de scènes fluviales à l'imitation du laque de Chine, ouvrant à deux tiroirs et un abattant découvrant un intérieur à motifs de branchages et de fleurs sur fond rouge comportant quatre tiroirs, un casier coulissant et trois compartiments ; (entrées de serrure d'époque Louis XVI)

Condition
The illustration is slightly too yellow. Attractive piec of furniture, with a "chinoiseries" decoration (toutes faces).
The Parisian varnish is fine with an attractive landscape scene. Probably a dark blue ground, and gilt blue and red composition.
Varnish has been added, and is now yellow so that it gives a yellow reflect to the whole piece.
The inside is decorated with the usual vermillon red lacquer. The varnish in the inside is also quite yellow.
Overall chips and scratches. The escutchons have been probably added a few years later, as they are Louis XVI instead of Louis XV.
This fine piece will benefit a light cleaning by removing the yellow varnish, and then it will show the original attractive decoration.
