- Coupe en émail peint représentant l'Apparition de Dieu à Abraham
- émail peint en grisaille bleu à rehauts d'or
- Haut. 18 cm; diam. 19 cm
- height 7 in; diam. 7 1/2 in
l'intérieur représentant Dieu apparaissant à Abraham, agenouillé dans un paysage avec quatre personnages parmi des tentes et des troupeaux ; l'extérieur de la tazza orné de têtes d'angelots alternant avec des termes sur fond bleu et reliés par des rinceaux d'or; le fût balustre orné de masques de lion et le pied évasé décoré de Diane chasseresse promenant ses chiens, et de deux chiens attaquant un cerf, sur fond bleu orné d'arbres peints en or ; (petits éclats et manques autour de la fixation du pied, quelques repeints)

Catalogue Note
Une coupe très proche avec un décor similaire et la même iconographie, attribuée à l'émailleur Léonard Limosin, est conservée au musée du Louvre (n°inv.MR2454). Par son style et sa composition, notre coupe est à rapprocher des œuvres de Pierre ou Jean III Pénicaud, actifs à Limoges dans la deuxième moitié du XVIe siècle.
