Condition
Très bon état général avec un peu de poussière dans les interstices et quelques très petites usures sur la tranche du buste. Beau modelé du marbre.
Very good condition overall with minor surface dust in the crevisses and minor wear to the edges. Marble finely modelled.

Catalogue Note
Ce beau buste en marbre blanc représentant Diane Valérie de Woëlmont à l'Antique, répertorié dans la monographie de l'artiste par P. Roux-Foujol, a été réalisé par d'Epinay vers 1890. Comme pour les deux portraits suivants, ce buste illustre à merveille le talent du sculpteur de portraiturer l'aristocratie de son temps sous les traits de figures mythologiques.
