le plateau circulaire en acajou massif, reposant sur six pieds sculptés de feuillages et cannelures torsadées ; avec deux allonges en acajou d'époque postérieure (larg. allonge : 47 cm)
Condition
Illustration is accurate. Very nice quality of mahogany, attractive colour. Good overall condition with small dents and scratches in places.
Carved lys heavily varnished. Stable structure. With two extra leaves (visible on the photograph).

Cette table est à rapprocher d'un fauteuil Louis XVI estampillé de G. Jacob, passé en vente à Paris, palais Galliéra le 10 décembre 1971. L'anglomanie et la vogue de l'acajou à cette époque conduisaient naturellement Jacob à puiser son inspiration outre Manche. Voir la notice du lot suivant.
