Condition
The suite, in particular the chairs, has been largely re-painted gold over a previous gilding. Flaking and chippings to the gilding, as visible from the catalogue illustration. The upholstery is worn and dry and in general poor condition. General surface dirt. Minor marks chips and scratches consistent with age. The sofa with its corners blocked on the inside of the rail. In otherwise sound condition.
