à côtes torses, reposant sur trois pieds sommés de coquille et bouquet de fleurs, les deux anses agrafées de coquilles, le couvercle à prise en fruit exotique
Literature
Ce sucrier est illustré dans l'ouvrage Orfèvrerie toulousaine au XVIIIe siècle, 1988, p. 43 et a été exposé au musée Paul Dupuy à Toulouse en 1988. Il est étonnant de remarquer que Jean Thuile, dans l'Orfèvrerie du Languedoc, 1966, vol. II, p. 266, indique que cet orfèvre est inhumé le 25 juillet 1764...
Condition
Bon état général. Poinçons très lisibles sous le corps (orfèvre, charge, jurande, décharge). Sur le bord du couvercle, décharge lisible. Sur la bâte du couvercle est également insculpé le poinçon d'importation en France ET.
