  • Plusieurs urnes similaires sont répertoriées, dont une, par le même orfèvre, illustrée dans l'ouvrage de Schäffler, n° 129 et une faisant partie des collections du musée Kestner à Hanovre, faite par Franz Peter Bunsen à Hanovre vers 1785.

les trois pieds reposant sur une base triangulaire en argent et bois noir, gravée au chiffre du roi, les pieds sommés de cygnes tenant dans leur bec des chaînes auxquelles est suspendue la lampe, le bec verseur en forme de tête de cygne, le couvercle également gravé du chiffre royal

Condition

In overall very good condition. Marked under the body MULLER K, date letter G, both very legible, assay scrape. The cover engraved inside with weight number 18m 13Lo. Very nice piece, good quality.
