  • Pietro Paolo Spagna, issu d'une des meilleures dynasties d'orfèvres de Rome, travailla dans l'atelier des Valadier qu'il reprit ensuite, ainsi que leur maison, en 1817 avec son père. Né à Rome en 1793, il fut actif de 1817 à 1861.
  • Pietro Paolo Spagna was part of one the most important dynasties of Rome silversmiths, he studied in the Valadier workshop before taking over their business and their house in 1817.

Condition

In overall good condition, usual scratches, the gilding very slightly worn at some places. Very attractive piece, unusual size, very nice quality.
