applied with oval medallions chased with Summer and Winter, the cream ground within acanthus and entrelac de rubans borders, the lid with motto: Souvenir/ d'Amitié, containing ivory memorandum slips and gold-tipped pencil, maker's mark and date rubbed, charge and discharge marks of Jean-Baptiste Fouache

Condition
Generally good condition. The poude d'ecaille surface with overall craquelure and some discolouration to edges. Minor crimping to mounts.
