- Rare aiguière en argent d'époque Louis XIII, poinçon d'orfèvre GLT, une sainte ampoule, Reims, vers 1620 (lettre-date n)
- Une aiguière de modèle très proche est illustrée dans l'ouvrage de Michèle Bimbenet-Privat, l'Orfèvrerie Parisienne de la Renaissance, 1995, n° 40 p. 63. Cette aiguière est également insculpée du poinçon de Reims vers 1610-1620, mesure 20 cm de haut et provient de l'infirmerie de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Reims. Le poinçon de maître est CL, une sainte ampoule (Solange Brault-Lerch pense pouvoir attribuer ce poinçon à Claude Lépicié). La lettre-date est E, ce qui correspond à une date antérieure d'environ à huit ans à celle présentée ici. Michèle Bimbenet-Privat relève une autre aiguière, également rémoise, mais plus tardive, dans l'ancienne collection Hamilton, au château de Brodick.

Condition
In overall good condition, usual scratches and dents. One scratch on the body, a very small solder at the base of the neck with 3 tiny holes, invisible from the outside. The spreading foot rim slightly worn.
Both marks below the base very legible.
