- Grande verseuse tripode en argent par André Boullet, Toulon, 1766
André Boullet est issu d'une dynastie d'orfèvres installée à Toulon depuis le début du XVIIIe siècle.
Pour une chocolatière présentant un bec verseur très similaire, exécutée par le père d'André, Nicolas II Boullet en 1740, voir l'Orfèvrerie Civile en Provence au XVIIIe siècle, musée Grobet-Labadié, Marseille, 2005, n° 170.- Haut. 29 cm, 1.131 gr. sans le manche ; 11 1/2in high, 36oz 7dwt excluding handle
reposant sur trois larges pieds sabots, le bec verseur souligné d'une tête de Pomone coiffée de fruits et sommant une coquille
Condition
Bon état général. Une bosse sous la base.
Poinçons sous la base: orfèvre , date et charge lisibles, sur le col décharge très lisible (tour couronnée).
Couvercle apparemment non poinçonné (traces de poinçons?).
Très belle pièce, bon poids, le bec verseur de très belle venue.
