- Les pots-à-oille, appelés localement marmites, sont étonnamment rares dans le nord de la France. Seule une petite dizaine a été recensée.
- Haut. 27,5 cm, 2.267 gr. ; 11in high, 72oz 11dwt
cylindrique, reposant sur un petit piédouche, les anses ornées de coquilles, la prise en bouton ciselé d'oves, anciennement gravée d'armoiries d'alliance timbrées d'une couronne de marquis
Condition
In overall good condition. The finial possibly but probably not later. Usual scratches.
Marks: fully marked under the base and inside the cover, date letter Z.
As written in the catalogue the body and cover were engraved with arms.
