- Terrine couverte en argent par Antoine Boullier, Paris, 1786-1787, la graine formée d'une perdrix
- Deux terrines du même orfèvre avec des graines similaires figuraient dans les collections impériales russes. L'une d'elle, provenant du service Soltykov, est aujourd'hui au musée Gulbenkian à Lisbonne, l'autre se trouve au musée de l'Hermitage à Saint-Petersbourg, illustrée dans Les Grands Orfèvres de Louis XIII à Charles X, 1965, p. 229..

le corps ciselé d'une frise de rinceaux et gravé du monogramme CPV, reposant sur un piédouche mouluré d'une frise de feuilles de laurier, la prise représentant une perdrix sur une terrasse fleurie, le bord du couvercle orné d'une frise cordée

Condition
In overall good condition.
The cover fully marked with legible marks, the body stamped with charge and jurande marks under the base, discharge mark on the footrim, apparently without maker's mark.
Unusual and nice finial. The monogram on body and cover not very legible.
