Condition
In overall good condition. Usual scratches inside. Arms possibly erased in the medallions.
Gilt inside.
Marks: under the base, tow, assay master and maker very legible. The maker, despite not identified, is registered under nr 1085 in Verzeichnis der Russischen Gold und Silbermarken and in Postnjikowa-Los'ewa, Lijst van Moskouse Silversmeden, 1974, under nr 1085. Also with three assay scrapes.
The cover with same marks less legible. Both parts also stamped with control mark of Fedor Alderman Petrow.
This tureen is not the one sold at Christie's but the pair to it.
