Description

The first stamped VI to the back rail, the other stamped VII to the back rail.

Condition

Overall good restored condition; the first char with old inpainted repaired breaks to the cresting rail at joins with the top of each stile and with some plugs; replaced section approximately ¾ inches by 4 ½ inches to top left edge of pierced splat replaced; old repaired break and replaced chip to the shoe at join with the bottom right corner of the splat; front right corner bracket replaced; back right corner bracket replaced; pegged construction; seat frame with three old metal braces. The other chair with an old repaired crack to the cresting rail at join with right stile; old repaired horizontal break to the cresting rail a join with top a splat and now with a small replaced section approximately ¼ inch by 1 ½ inch to the cresting rail at join with top right corner of splat; replaced section to front of shoe at join with splat; front left bracket replaced; front right side bracket replaced; small replaced section to front right corner of seat frame; back right bracket lacking.
