Replacements, alterations.
Condition
Overall good restored condition; the top with rippling and warpage; two small patches to the crossbanding of the back edge of the top, possible patches to the crossbanding to the corners; the back rail replaced; the side rails possibly replaced but appear to retain the original veneers; replaced sections to the veneers of the right and left side edges of top; the veneers to the top of the front right leg on the right side replaced; the veneers to the top of the front left leg on the left side replaced; the underside of the top formerly fitted with a cross-brace and with holes and shadows showing other previous braces; old repaired age cracks or breaks to the front frieze at joins with front legs; the top has been moved around and re-attached. The table possibly was a D-shaped large table, which appears to have been cut down. Chips and losses to the veneers of the toes, especially to the toes of the back legs.
