Condition

Overall fair restored condition; infilled crack to the left chairback cresting rail; the frames of the chair backs with infilled upholstery holes; old repaired breaks to the tops of the stiles of the left chairback at join with the cresting rail; each stile with a triangular patch at the old break; old repaired break to the far right stile of the right chair back with a small triangular patch at join with the cresting rail; far right stile with a replaced section to the middle next to join with armrest; left armrest with a replaced section to the outside edge; old repaired break to the top of the armrest support at join with armrest; three later plugs to the base of the armrest support at join with the seat rail; the other armrest with an old repaired break now with a plug; the armrest support with an old plugged repaired break; the front apron with small chips and losses to the veneers with some infilling and inpainting in places and with some small patches; front left bracket replaced; central left bracket replaced; front right bracket replaced; front right side bracket with a replaced tip; back backrest appear to be replaced; rectangular patch to back of back right leg at join with seat rails; back right leg spliced; central back leg with an addition to the foot; tip of back left foot replaced; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
