deeply chased with Gothic foliage, the shaped terminals set with quatrefoil medallions engraved with an eagle at the top, Mary and John on the arms, and Christ rising from the Tomb at the base, showing traces of enamel, on a wood core, marked beneath the four medallions each time with city, maker's mark EM? conjoined over - - IO, and assay master or warden's mark
