shaped circular, the gadroon rims with leaf tips and shells flanked by acanthus at intervals, conforming high domed covers engraved with contemporary arms beneath foliate mantles and with fully modeled heraldic crest finials

The arms are those of Stucley, Afton, co. Devon, quartering Buck with O'Brien in pretence, for Sir George Stuckley of Affeton Castle and Hartland Abbey, Devon, M.P. for Barnstable 1855-9 and 1865-9, colonel commandant Devonshire Artillery J.P. D.L. high Sheriff 1863; born 1812 and married in 1835 Lady Elizabeth O'Bryan daughter and co-heir of William, 2nd Marquess of Thomond K.P.  He was created a baronet in 1859.
