the ovoid body embossed and chased with floral sprays, shellwork, scrolls and panels of diaper, the small loop handles wrapped with leaves and centered by rose blossoms, conforming domed cover with leaf and berry bud finial, all supported on an openwork base of shells and large scrolling acanthus leaves, body engraved on both sides with arms and supporters beneath a baron's coronet, collar with matching crests and coronet
Provenance
The arms are those of Wynn for Thomas John, 2nd Baron Newborough, born 1802, M.P. for co. Carnavon 1826-30 and died unmarried in 1832 at Glynllivon.
