rectangular with plain sides, the hinged cover mounted with three rectangular plaques within corded borders, each openwork plaque depicting a galleon at sea and set against a blue, green and white enamel ground, interior lined with wood

a little overall wear, especially to high spots, some small losses to enamel of plaque on right, otherwise good condition
