comprising: one with cover mounted under glass with miniature of children playing in a Louis XV interior, the sides with two-color gold stripes on lacquer ground; another with vernis martin lacquer stripes and gilt-metal mounts; the third mounted in gold, the cover with foil-backed amethyst glass centered by a mother-of-pearl bow knot, Paris, c. 1800; the fourth mounted with vitreous paste cameo bust of Napoleon on green cloth ground; another of burr wood with bronzed medallion of Napoleon as emperor; the last with embossed gilt bust of Charles X, signed Morel fecit, circa 1825; 6 pieces

the first with several losses to gold stripes; second with craquelure; third with damaged interior seam; the fourth and last with glued inner rims
