Condition
This painting is in excellent condition. The application of curled birch bark, a sculptural element, has indented the canvas which is evident from the reverse. On the extreme right edge there is some puckering to the lightly painted canvas, possibly an intentional detail, given Rayner's other work. There are no apparent issues under UV.
