Condition

There are two works on paper in this lot. Some of the water-based pigments in the first, which is illustrated in the catalogue, have faded, particularly the green and orange. The exposed paper, overall, has yellowed slightly. The black ink, however, remains true and graphic. The second work is in very good condition, with the pigments of the gouache and ink remaining vibrant and relatively opaque. The perforations from the sketchbook, (which remain exposed in both frames) are torn in the lower left and lower right corners. There are no apparent issues under UV.
