This work is overall in good condition. There are several surface scratches; on the skirt of the woman standing in front of the teepee, another to the left of the teepee, two in the lower left corner of the work, one in the foreground of the seated Indian draped in the red blanket, and the upper right corner of the sky. There are tiny spots of watercolour loss in the sky.
