This work is floated within its frame and is not laid down. There is a crease line running down the centre of the work from where the picture was once folded. Overall the picture had faded.

The final painting on which Whiteley was working before his death was based on this drawing. It was not completed and remains at the studio in Raper Street, Surry Hills.
