the field with reverse applique floral urns with bouquets of flowers and trapunto grapes, mounted on a white cotton ground highlighted with finely stitched wreaths and diagonal line quilting; at center initialed and dated L.C. 1856.

Condition

floral urns quilt: soft washed, colors in good condition, no discernable fabric loss. patriotic eagle quilt: washed, some loss in red flowers. George and Martha Washington quilt: worn, crease lines; dull finish.
