Condition

Overall good original condition. Retains original upholstery. The upholstery with some concentrated areas of staining which appear lighter in color to the middle section of the seat, as seen in the catalogue illustration. With one minor area of fading to the upholstery to the middle section of the reverse of the back of the sofa. The front proper left edge with some lightening and discoloration. Otherwise the upholstery is in decent shape. The castors move with ease.

Catalogue Note

The four lots offered in this collection represent an early commission executed by Vladimir Kagan in the 1950s for the Bagden family.  The present owners purchased the collection along with the house and the pieces have remained in the same interior for over 50 years.  Each lot has been authenticated by Vladimir Kagan and is being sold with a certificate of authenticity.
