Overall excellent condition. With some discoloration to the leather discs adjacent to the metal joineries from oxidation. This work is in superb original condition and appears to have been only very lightly used.

Catalogue Note
The present lot is one of a pair of bedspreads originally produced for an American patron. The other was offered at Phillips, de Pury & Luxembourg in June 2003. Only one other example of the model, in natural brown leather, from the collection of Wolfgang Joop, which was offered at Sotheby's in December 2003, has appeared on the market.
