Condition
Overall good original condition. The stool with losses to finish throughout as seen in the catalogue illustration. With scratches, staining, nicks, dings and abrasions to the surface of the stool. With slight seam separations throughout. The top of the box with a crack extending the width of the stool. Another crack to the box of the stool extending over ½ the width. One of the sides with a series of three darkened drink rings. Two of the other sides showing evidence of staining from water, one with a concentrated circular stain approximately 3 ½ inches in diameter. One of the other sides with a loss to the veneer extending 4 inches in length. Two of the corners with losses at the immediate corner of the joints, which is visible in the catalogue illustration. This piece retains its original condition, with evidence of use and age.
