Condition

Overall in very good condition. The frame of this stool is slightly loose. With evidence of repainting to the top surface at the edges, extending approximately two inches into the center of the top, which is slightly off in color. This was likely done to cover some minor chips to the paint at the edges. With minor nicks and dings, and some scattered paint losses at the edges as expected from use. The application of the original paint scheme with some minor crossing of the white paint into the black painted portion, which appears inherent in the making. With intact paper label to the underside which dates the piece to the 1960s and possibly prior to Rietveld?s death in 1964.
