Description

each decorated to the interior with stylized panels of lotus, the exterior in café-au-lait glaze, 25cm., 9 7/8 in.; together with a pair of famille-verte duck censers, each with head turned to the side, wood stands

Condition

The beaker has a wax like substance encrusted over the enamel band - some enamel loss to the beaker and saucer - saucer riveted with silver mounts - chips to the base of saucer. One duck has a repair to one part of his webbed foot and also a 6cm crack (possibly firing) to the underside. The other duck has a 7.5cm crack to the underside running from a 4cm firing crack. There are four other firing cracks to the underside.
