Description

  • Venetian frame: 56cm. high, 34cm. wide, 1ft.9¾in., 1ft.1in.; giltwood frame: 42cm. high, 25cm. wide 1ft.4½in., 9¾in., giltwood frame: 44cm. high 28cm. wide 1ft.5¼in. 11in. walnut frame: 38cm. high, 32cm. wide; 1ft.3in., 1ft. ½in. Oval walnut frame: 43cm. high, 28cm. wide; 1ft.5in. 11in.
together with  two Italian carved gilwood frames, one Genoese, the other probably Genoese, mid 18th century,  an Italian carved walnut and giltwood frame, Genoese, mid 18th century, now mounted as a mirror; and a small Italian oval walnut and parcel-gilt frame, Genoese, part mid 18th century

 

Condition

Giltwood frame, Venetian Old very minor worm which appears to be no longer active. Old minor chips to gilding which are hardly noticeable. It has been strengthened at the back. In overall good condition. Probably Genoese Frame Some very minor chips and touching up to the gilding. Restored break to the top right side of cresting but this has been well executed and is hardly noticeable. In overall good condition. Genoese Frame Some old minor restorations to the carving which has been well executed and is hardly noticeable. Some touching up to chips and gilt paint. In otherwise good condition. Frame mounted as mirror Construction crack in the lower right corner as visible from photograph which can easily be filled. In overall good condition. Oval parcel-gilt Frame A couple of old restored breaks to carved sections. Strengthened at the back. There is a paper label saying INBERT Collection. In overall good condition.
