Description
- mortar with ears 16.5cm. high., candlesticks 53cm. high.
comprising a Flemish mortar with inscription band and date IAN VAN DEN GHEY ME FECIT 1675, a Dutch or Flemish banded mortar, a Le Puy mortar modelled with butresses and male bust portraits, an Italian mortar with masks, late 16th/17th century, and a Lower Rhenish mortar with ears and IHK cartouche, late 16th/17th century, together with a pair of baluster tripod pricket candlesticks, restored
Condition
The mortars in overall good condition with some minor dents, marks and scratches. Traces of use to the inside. Two without patination, as visible in the catalogue image. The baluster candlesticks with minor damages and some restorations, one drip-pan slightly warped.
