- Taddeo Gaddi
- Madonna and Child enthroned, with six prophets: Jesaja, David, Moses, Solomon, Jeremiah, and Haggai, together with a Crucifixion with Mary, Mary Magdalene and Saint John
- oil on panel, gold ground, in an integral frame with an arched top
Condition
The actual painting is less bright and yellow than the catalogue illustration suggests. The single plank is slightly bowed. The paint surface seems to be quite heavily over painted and substantially restored. Furthermore no major damages seems to be apparent to the paint surface. Inspection under UV light confirms the above. Offered in an integral frame, in fair condition with damages. (MW/ML)
