the top covered with paper elaborately black and white painted with a frieze of Neoclassical figural scenes, inspired by works of Angelika Kauffmann, centered by a lion mask surrounded by scrolling foliate ornament
Condition
In overall good condition with some minor dents, marks, scratches and wear to the gilding. One leg re-attached, related restored area to the baluster stem. Small woodloss to underside rim of table top. Minor wear, tears and losses to the paper cover, especially to the rims. Minor restorations. One small section to the rim taped. Few larger fissures due to dryness to the table top visible through the paper cover.
