  • timepiece 47cm. high, base and dome 59cm. high
18-cm enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Robin à Paris and acanthus moulded ormolu bezel, blued Breguet hands, skeletonized centre with subsidary beat dial, movement of long duration driven by two spring barrels, pinwheel escapement and heavy knife-edge suspended gridiron pendulum fitted between the dial and front plate, shaped brass frame with arched supports mounted on a rectangular marble base inset with an ormolu classical relief, under an arched glass dome with flat marble plinth

Condition

chapter ring refinished but well done, Robin signature possibly later, hands fine, seconds subsidiary with hairline cracks, seconds hand needs to be fitted, movement able to function and runs well at moment of cataloguing, small chips to the corners of the base but nothing disturbing, bob of pendulum with minor scratch, base and dome custom made for this clock and in good condition, together with a pendulum, winder, dome and base
