Description
one with Pfennigmarke in underglaze blue beside KPM and orb mark in iron red, the other with septre mark above KPM in underglaze blue above faint orb mark in iron red
- 31.5cm. high.
each ovoid body of 'Französische Form' with gilt-painted cartouche reserved against ornamentally decorated ground, one depicting the Renaissance castle Schloss Demerthin, the other the Von Klitzing'sche Bauernhaus, the reverse with the coats-of-arms of the Von Klitzing
Condition
In overall good condition with some minor wear to the gilding. Minor light surface scratching.

Catalogue Note
The genealogy of the Von Klitzing family can be traced back to the 13th century. Since the mid 15th century, the Von Klitzing resided at Demerthin, province Brandenburg, until they had to leave in 1945.
