Description

  • 39cm. high.
each wall-plate finely cast and chisseled with a female mask surrounded by curled hair and surmounted by a head dress with sickle moon and flaming torchère, flanked by dragonfly wings, issuing three stylized acanthus wrapped candlearms with foliate cast nozzles, terminating in a rosette finial

Condition

In overall good condition with some minor dents, marks, scratches and wear to the gilding. Minor wax residue. Formerly fitted for electricity (small drill-hole visible to the reverse under each nozzle).
