11-cm enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and gilt fleur-des-lis half hour marks, signed J.Bte. De La Roche à Paris, the reverse signed and dated for the enameler a.n. martiniere, fecit janvier 1741, foliate pierced and engraved hands, similary signed verge movement with knopped pillars, numbered countwheel striking on a bell and silk suspended pendulum, elaborate gilt bronze case throughout adorned with scrolling leaves and flowers, engraved trellis frets, the whole terminating in a foliate scroll
Condition
The dial in original condition with two small repairs at the winding holes and one at 35. Hands fine. Movement able to function, but might benefit from cleaning. Backplate of movement with a few unidentified plugged holes. The verge/ pendulum suspension /countwheel /bell support /all restored. Case recently cleaned, probably with some regilding. Together with a pendulum.
