18-cm engraved brass chapter ring with Roman numerals, brass border signed and dated A. Jannin De Foncine Le Bas - Comte - 1731, brass single hour hand and alarm disc, iron posted verge movement with wire pendulum, passing strike for the half hours, trip repeating rack striking and alarm on a surmounted bell, brass foliate pierced front fret and engraved shutters inscribed ESTOTE PARATI
Condition
dial original but a little tarnished, movement with fine worked details/ wood rope cylinders/ iron fan etc. able to function, one pinion behind the dial appears to be restored, front fret original with a few repairs, together with old weights, pendulum, winder and a later bracket
