the serpentine-shaped top inlaid with symmetrical scrolls above three shaped similar drawers
Condition
Overall with the usual dents, marks and scratches due to use and age, wear to gilding, overall minor traces of old woodworm (especially to the back). The top with hairline cracks to the rear. The top slightly warped. Both sides each with vertical shrinkage cracks. Each drawer with four or five vertical shrinkage cracks. Right upper corner with loss to the moulding. All three drawers with losses to the corner mouldings and minor veneer loss. Old repairs to the construction. The mounts possibly of later date. Would benefit from restoration.
