- 11cm. high, 8.5cm. wide; 8.5cm. high, 7cm. wide; 41cm. high, 35cm. wide; 44cm. high, 38cm. wide; 6cm. high, 4.5cm. wide.
comprising: a Deesis icon with silver cover, a giltwood and polychrome icon with Saint Serafim of Sarov, a Feastday icon and an icon with the Crucifixion, together with a small enamel plaque with the Dormition of the Virgin, Russia, 19th century
Condition
Deesis icon: in reasonably good condition, occasional soiling to the silver, minor dents, marks and scratches to the silver sheet due to age and use, a few minor losses and bent parts to the silver halo's, minor wear to the gilded frame, minor veneer losses to the box.
Polychrome icon: in overall good condition, minor losses to the gilding and minor wear to the polychromy, minor losses and hairline cracks to the box.
Feastday icon: in reasonably good condition, minor hairline cracks and losses to the polychromy, minor restorations.
Icon with the Crucifixion: in reasonably good condition, minor losses to the gilding and wear to the polychromy, minor restorations to the polychromy, one back splat lacking, minor traces of old woodworm.
Enamel plaque: in reasonably good condition, enamel restored, minor restorations to the gilding and polychromy.
