- 55cm. high
16-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Filon A Paris and foliate engraved gilt hands, flat bottomed countwheel bell striking movement, drum case surmounted by a trumpeting cherub on clouds surmounted on trophees with banners, flanked by the figure of Minerva and a cherub holding a wreath over a portrait medallion, rectangular base with acanthus moulding raised on block feet
Condition
dial in original condition with a few small hairline cracks in the outside part, minute hand repaired, movement complete but very dirty, able to function, anchor, 'scapewheel and pendulum suspension restored in the 19th Century, case in good condition, trumpet of the putto broken, parts probably regilt (top of the base and drum) but the rest with original gilding in good condition, rare big size clock of good quality, together with a pendulum
