- 63cm. high
16-cm enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals, pierced and engraved gilt hands and blued sweep seconds, gilt hour marks and inner date marking, skeletonized centre revealing the flat bottomed countwheel bell striking movement of long duration with pinwheel escapement mounted on the backplate, knife-edge suspended gridiron pendulum with sunburst bob forming the oscillating bezel, finely cast and chiseled ormolu lyre-shaped case with a garland and scrolling leaves surmounted by a sunburst mask, mounted on a moulded oval plinth on bun feet

dial in original condition with a few minor scratches, hands a little dirty but fine, movement able to function but might benefit from a clean, case of well cast ormolu in good condition just a little dirty and should clean up very nicely, centre of dial now with dust covering glass plate (easily removed), together with a pendulum, now inder
