- 45cm. high
12.5-cm enamel dial with blue Roman numerals signed Lepaute Le Jeune A Paris, fine foliate pierced engraved gilt hands and alarm disc, similarly signed movement with knopped pillars and tic-tac escapement, silk suspended pendulum and front wind alarm on a bell, shaped ormolu case throughout adorned with C- and S-scroll leaves, trellis panels to the sides, glazed lenticle above the scrolled base
Condition
dial in original good condition with just two small hairline cracks to the rim, very well made hands and alarm disc in good condition, movement recently cleaned and in good condition, fork of the crutch broken (small repair), pendulum lacking, alarm is converted from pull wind to front wind but very well done, case in original dirty condition, the gilding appears to be good and should clean up nicely, together with a pendulum
