2.5-cm polychrome painted dial with Roman numerals, season spandrels on gilt ground, with brass hands and alarm disc, a theatrical opening above with a mansion and the automaton of a walking soldier connected to the going train of the brass posted anchor movement with countwheel striking and alarm on a bell, stained oak case with break arch top and canted corners, shaped tail with lead lenticle

Condition

Dial with refinished numerals and refinished gilt ground. Painted spandrels and arch apair original. Fine hands, movement able to function. Inneed of cleaning. The case in original, but dirty condition. Finials lacking. The wood of the tail a little pale. Together with three weights and a pendulum.
